How do I submit my assignments?

There are four types of academic assignments: Quiz, Essay, Discussion, and Hybrid :

• Quizzes are typically short assessments that test a student’s knowledge on a particular topic. They are often multiple choice or true/false questions. 
• Essays, on the other hand, are more in-depth assignments that require students to research a topic and present their findings in a written format. 
• Discussions are another type of academic assignment that requires students to engage in a conversation with their peers or instructors on a particular topic.
• Finally, hybrid assignments are a combination of quiz and essay type questions. These assignments may require students to answer multiple choice questions and a more detailed essay questions. The method of submitting varies with the assignment type.

Here are the different ways to submit the 4 different types of assignments:

Submitting a quiz

Step 1: Select the Assignments tab on the menu on the left and access an upcoming quiz assignment. You can also access quiz assignments by selecting a course under the My Courses tab, choosing a subject, and then selecting an upcoming quiz.

Step 2: Proceed by selecting the assignment and commencing to answer the quiz questions. Mark any questions for review if they require further attention.

Step 3: After finishing the assignment, click the Submit button. Click the Review Answers link from the pop-up window to review the questions, including the marked ones.

Step 4: After thoroughly reviewing, click the Submit button to finally submit the quiz.

Submitting an essay

Step 1: Select the Assignments tab on the menu on the left and access an upcoming essay assignment. You can also access essay assignments by selecting a course under the My Courses tab, choosing a subject, and then selecting an upcoming essay.

Step 2: Proceed by selecting the essay assignment and starting the essay by reading the topic and instructions.

Step 3: Click on the Attach button to upload any extra attachments relevant to the assignment.

Step 4: After finishing the essay, click the Submit button once finished.

Submitting a discussion post

Step 1: Select the Assignments tab on the menu on the left and access an upcoming discussion You can also access quiz assignments by selecting a course under My Courses tab, choosing a subject, and then selecting an upcoming discussion. Another way to access discussions is by selecting the Discussions tab on the menu on the left.

Step 2: Proceed by selecting the discussion post and reading the prompt set by the instructor. 

Step 3: Write based on the prompt and click the Send button to post the discussion. 

Step 4: After posting, you can view other discussion posts and comment on them.

Submitting a hybrid assignment:

Step 1: Select the Assignments tab on the menu on the left and access a hybrid assignment. You can also access hybrid assignments by selecting a course under the My Courses tab, choosing a subject, and then selecting a hybrid assignment.

Step 2: Proceed by selecting the hybrid assignment and start with the first section of the assignment.

Step 3: Review the answers of the first section before moving on to the next section. A section cannot be accessed once you move on to the next section.

Step 4: Once all sections and complete, click the Submit button to submit the hybrid assignment.
